About cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage and pixels. Some storage is needed for the site to work; analytics and marketing technologies are optional and stay off unless you choose them.

How we ask for consent

On your first visit you will see a banner with three options: Manage, Reject, or Accept. Accept and Reject are presented with equal prominence. You can change your choice anytime by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.

Your choice is stored in browser local storage and in a strictly necessary, host-bound first-party cookie called __Host-zbang_consent. The cookie stores the policy version, category choices, timestamp, and expiry so our server can verify marketing consent before any server-side conversion forwarding. Other Zbang subdomains cannot change this cookie. We do not use this consent cookie for tracking.

Reject choices, including managed choices where all optional categories are off, are stored for about six months. Choices that opt into analytics or marketing are stored for about twelve months, unless this policy or the technologies change sooner.

Essential

Always on. Required to load the site, navigate, remember this consent choice, and apply security controls.

  • __Host-zbang_consent — host-bound first-party consent record; expires according to the choice described above.
  • zbang-consent-v1 — local storage copy of the same consent record, used by the browser consent manager.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — verifies enquiry-form interactions to prevent automated abuse. It is required before the form can send and is not used by Zbang for advertising. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics

Off by default. Used for aggregated reporting about pages and links. It is not intended to identify you.

  • Google Analytics 4 (property G-059MF8HY0P) — Google Consent Mode v2 defaults to denied. The Google tag is only loaded after analytics or marketing consent. Analytics consent grants analytics_storage; marketing consent grants advertising consent parameters. See Google’s privacy policy.

Marketing

Off by default. Used for ad measurement, conversion tracking, and building advertising audiences where you consent.

  • Meta Pixel (id 2517266624991480) — loads fbevents.js from connect.facebook.net after marketing consent. Outbound audit and email-link clicks may send browser-only interest events. After marketing consent, a successfully submitted agency enquiry may send a browser-side Lead event and a server-side Conversions API mirror if the server can verify the current consent cookie. For conversion matching, our server normalises and one-way hashes the enquiry email before sending the hash to Meta; the browser Pixel is not given the email. See Meta’s privacy policy.
  • Google Ads measurement and audience signals — after marketing consent, the Google tag may send the current page URL and title as a page-load signal for audience building. This page-load signal is not a Google Ads conversion. A successfully submitted agency enquiry may send one browser-side conversion to Google Ads. The Google tag receives the normalised enquiry email for that conversion and one-way hashes it for matching. We clear the value from the tag immediately after queuing the conversion. With marketing consent, the Google tag may also set first-party cookies such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw to link ad clicks to conversions. Outbound audit-tool clicks are not sent as Google Ads conversions.

External fonts

This site serves its typefaces, Sofia Sans and Sofia Sans Extra Condensed, from first-party font files on this website. Loading them does not require your browser to request anything from Google Fonts.

Withdrawal and browser controls

You can withdraw analytics or marketing consent from Cookie preferences. When you withdraw, we stop future tracking calls from our code and try to delete known first-party Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta cookies such as _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gcl_*, _fbp, and _fbc, along with related local storage entries.

When you click through to our audit tool at ads.zbang.ai you enter a separate product surface with its own notices and controls.
